This is an audio book aboutt he tale fo a a tree that gives and gives and a little boy that takes and takes. The tree loves the little boy and he just takes from her. He takes everything she has and always the tree is ready to give more. This book is a parable for the gift of giving and the capacity of love.
This book is appropriate for elementary school students. It could be used in a character education unit as well as teaching poetry and fluency in reading.
After reading this book I thought about all the people that are so willing to share and help others. While others help no one but their selves.
